- The Offer Verdict app has no internet access. It cannot send any information to us or anyone else.
- It only reads the ride offer card in your driver app, and only after you agree.
- It keeps your settings and the last offer it read on your phone only.

1. What the app reads, and why
When a ride offer appears in your driver app, Offer Verdict uses Android's Accessibility service to read the text on the offer card: the fare, pickup time, trip time and rider rating. The card also shows the pickup and drop-off addresses, so these are read as part of the card text.
The app uses this to work out the total time and earnings per hour and to show a coloured bar on your screen. All of this happens on your phone.
The app ignores every other app. It does not read your messages, photos, contacts, location, calls or anything else, and it never taps, types, accepts or declines anything.
Consent: the app shows a "Before you start" screen explaining this and reads nothing until you tap Agree. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app ("Withdraw consent to read offers"), or turn the service off in Android Settings → Accessibility.
2. What the app stores
Stored only on your phone, in the app's private storage:
- your settings (target £ per hour, amber zone, rating filter, on/off);
- whether you gave consent;
- the text of the last offer card read (which may include pickup and drop-off addresses), so you can check a reading.
The app doesn't back this up to the cloud. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data. The "Copy" button puts the last card on your clipboard only when you tap it.
3. What we collect through the app
Nothing. The app has no internet permission, so we never receive any data from it. We have no servers for the app.
4. Payments
If you buy the app, the payment is handled by Google Play under Google's privacy policy. We don't receive your card or bank details. Google may share basic order information with us, such as the order number and date, as it does for all developers.
5. This website and the early-access sign-up
If you give us your email on this website, we use it only to tell you about Offer Verdict (early access and launch news). The form is processed by Web3Forms, which delivers it to our email inbox. We never sell or share your email. Ask us at [email protected] and we'll delete it. Our legal basis is your consent (UK GDPR). You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
This website uses no cookies, advertising or analytics. Its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to download them, as it would for many websites.
6. Children
Offer Verdict is for adult drivers and isn't intended for anyone under 18.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
8. Independence
Offer Verdict is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Uber or any other ride-hailing company.
